The aim of Tzu Chi’s Mission of Humanistic Culture is to promote wholesome values in society, and ultimately bring peace, harmony and stability. Different forms of media and mass communication are used to spread the ideals of goodness, truth and beauty across the globe. Since the opening of Tzu Chi Culture & Communication Centre in Guandu, Taiwan on January 1, 2005, the DaAi TV, DaAi Radio, publications and the Internet media are housed in the same premises. Da Ai TV Da Ai TV (http://daai.tv ) began its operation on January 1, 1998, and has produced many good programmes, including news, documentaries, drama series, cultural and educational programmes, all of which focus on human values such as universal love and compassion. This was followed by the commencement of Da Ai TV in Indonesia in August 2007. As such, audiences from all over the world can watch the programmes round-the-clock via satellite. Da Ai e-Radio Since its operation in November 1985, Da Ai Radio has inspired a good number of audiences. The Da Ai e-Radio (http://radio.newdaai.tv ), which started on September 1, 2005, has been broadcasting globally round-the-clock. Great Love 33
