  • On November 21, 2024, Tzu-Chi Jing Si Hall in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, was abuzz with excitement. Visitors from across Malaysia and beyond gathered to hear the iconic Dr. Jane Goodall share her message of hope. From early evening, attendees explored the serene hall or enjoyed the warm ambiance of Jing-Si Books & Café, while volunteers offered gracious guidance, exemplifying Tzu Chi’s commitment to harmonious service.

  • “Ngai Chee Ching achieved 9A’s in the 2023 SPM examination!” When the wonderful news spread in the “i·didik” chat group, Tzu Chi volunteers, teachers and peers sent their wishes and cheered for her achievement.

  • “Thank you, Mum and Dad, for bringing me into this world and raising me.” This heartfelt sentiment filled the air with love and warmth at the Buddha Bathing Ceremonies hosted by Da Ai Kindergartens (Kepong and Pandan Indah) on May 18, 2024.

  • On May 12, 2024, thousands of people converged at the KL Tzu-Chi Jing Si Hall for the 3-in-1 celebration of Buddha Day, Mother’s Day, and Tzu Chi Day. The Buddha’s teachings echoed through the hearts, reminding everyone of the interconnectedness of all beings and the spirit of compassion.

  • On July 15, 2023, Tzu Chi International School Kuala Lumpur held its annual sports day for its secondary school. With this year’s theme, “We Unite through Sports”, it is hoped that students could experience the real power of teamwork and unity through their participation in the sports day.

  • A doctor with unwavering compassion, Dr. Tan Hooi Chien not only treats illnesses and alleviates her patients’ sufferings, but also listens to the Dharma and internalises the teachings. When confronted with an unexpected illness, she faced it with calmness and continues to lead a purposeful life.

Stella Lee, aged 67, found herself trapped in a chaotic living environment that mirrored the turmoil within her own heart. In the process of decluttering her physical space, she discovered a newfound sense of ease and motivation to live her life well from now on.

  • Aunt Chiong, who lives alone in an orchard, faced the challenges of living without a toilet in her home. Recognising the inconvenience she endured, a dedicated team of Tzu Chi volunteers got together to construct a toilet for her.

  • “Besides saying thank you, I am at a loss for words. I am incredibly grateful to all of you,” Zarinah expressed with deep emotion as she gazed at the volunteers surrounding her and her family. She embraced volunteer Wong Pooi Wan while repeatedly expressing her gratitude amidst tears. In that moment, an indescribable mixture of gratitude and reluctance to part filled the air…

  • After a three-year hiatus, KL Tzu-Chi Jing Si Hall reverberated with the resumption of the Buddha Bathing Ceremony. The event saw the convergence of over 10,000 people on May 13 and 14, paying homage to the Buddha and offering blessings to the world.
